On the Disney Dream you can either solve the case of the missing paintings or the case of the missing puppies; both are different and a lot of fun! The Disney Fantasy will feature The Muppets in the Mid-Ship Detective Agency and I cannot wait to get my magnifying glass in on that mystery!
Noah is modeling the detective kit in front of the agency desk:
There are 3 things you'll need to participate in the Mid-Ship Detective Agency:
- Stop at the Agency Desk to receive your mission-The desk operates via a touch screen, when you begin Mickey and the gang will tell you which mystery they need help solving. Then you'll receive important information about how the game works.
- Pick Up a Detective Casebook-The Detective Casebook is a tri-fold brochure (as pictured below) that gives you important information about your suspects, as well as a map of clues to begin your hunt.
- Pick Up and Register Your Badge-Your badge is many things, it's your identification as an official Mickey detective, and it's also your key to unlocking clues. This badge can be a key, a drill, a laser and many other things. You'll see what I'm talking about when you start your mission. The important thing to remember about your badge is to be sure it's directly up and down facing the painting when you're unlocking a clue. If you tip your badge up or down, it won't be able to be read and you'll receive an error and a static sound.
That's all I'm going to tell you because anymore would ruin the surprise! Everyone who did this really enjoyed it! It was, of course, busiest on the sea day's but there's no particular order to gathering the clues and each person's mystery is different, so you don't have to worry about receiving your clue early if you're standing behind someone at one of the paintings.
Practical Planner Tip: You'll find that the hunt for clues is on each deck of the ship and can be forward, mid or aft. Use the stairs instead of the elevators to work off some of last night's dinner and complete decks by odd or even numbers to avoid running from forward to aft for each clue.
