Disney Deals and Discounts

I could talk about my 4-Night cruise on the Disney Dream for 40 days...at least. There were so many wonderful experiences, but I don't want to spoil all the fun for those of you who are looking forward to your upcoming cruises, so I'll scale back on all my spoilers :)

'Tis the season for everyone to start itching for fall discounts, promotions, and spring break getaways. So before you gets ants in your pants and start frantically searching for an escape from the brutality of winter let me break it down for you and make it really easy.

As an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner there is a #1 question that is constantly popping up. "When is free dining coming out?" This is everyone's "go to" discount, as it offers a great value and makes many vacations dreams a reality.

The sad fact is, even as an agent we don't receive any insider information about a release of free dining, or any other promotion. We have our methods of analyzing, agonizing, gossiping and trying to solve the "when are the discounts coming" mystery but when it comes down do it...we are all in the same boat. We are in the boat with you, waiting for fall discounts to come and make all our fall vacation dreams come true.

I don't generally perpetuate rumors but within the next week or two keep your eyes peeled for free dining. The rumor mill is stirring with news we might yet again celebrate fall with our favorite discount.

In lieu of the popularity of this offer, you shouldn't wait until the offer is released to book your vacation. Get something on the books now! Book a resort and a package that you are comfortable with (example: don't book a deluxe if you can only afford a value) and ask your travel agent to watch for discounts for you. A package reservation requires a $200 deposit, that's fully refundable. When (if) a discount is released I will gladly apply it to your reservation so you never have to worry about not getting the best price. That being said...if you have never used a travel agent here are a few things you should know:
  • There are NO FEES. Pixie Vacations is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and we have no fees for any of our services. I am paid through Disney and don't require a cent from you!
  • I will process your payments directly through Disney's secured site. Even though you'll provide your payment information to me, I will process your payments through Disney. Your credit card charges will show "Walt Disney Travel Company" or "Disney Cruise Line"...something along those lines. It will never say "Pixie Vacations" or "Michele's European Vacation Fund" :)
  • Agents do work on commission and contrary to popular belief, it's not a large one. If you have gotten free quotes from an agent, have asked them questions and gathered information that is useful to your vacation planning, please don't betray our trust and book your vacation on your own or with someone else. While we all love our jobs and are happy to help you plan your magical vacation, please know that this is a job and the only way we get paid is if you book and travel with us.
  • The benefits of booking with an agent (specifically me) is that this is what I do. I book Disney vacations, all day long, everyday. I monitor reservations for discounts, I answer questions, I send out quotes, I live and breathe Disney everyday. I treat each client like they are the only one I have and pride myself on quick responses to your requests and questions. I go the extra mile and create customized, personalized autograph books for your kids, send you spiral bound itineraries with tips and trick and make sure you are 100% ready for your trip so your trip is Pixie Perfect and worry free. Basically, I am doing all the work and you are having all the fun and it doesn't cost you a cent. Which begs this question...why haven't you booked your trip with me yet?!
Ok, I apologize for the brief soapbox tour of my life's work but I had to get that off my chest!!!
