Disney Cruise Line-Hawaii Ports of Call

When Disney Cruise Line announced its first cruise itinerary to Hawaii it sold out faster than ever before. With the new itinerary in high demand a second sailing has been added. The 14 and 15-Night itineraries initially cause quite a sticker shock; but when you take a moment to consider this cruise can be 5x as long as other Disney cruises you may have taken; the price is a lot more believable.

So where does this double length cruise to the tropics have to offer? You can expect the service and amenities Disney Cruise Line is known for as well as the best ports of call.

Here are some of the highlights of the ports of call on the Hawaii itineraries:
~Hilo, Hawaii: shops, restaurants and museums. Experience a rich Polynesian culture and a more modern culture that's thriving. Enjoy the charming main street and then experience the adventures that the Big Island has to offer. Tropical rainforests, breathtaking waterfalls and two majestic volcanoes (Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea). Visit the Macadamia Nut Factory, the Lilli'uokalani park and gardens, stroll through the farms market and learn about the history of sugar cultivation.

~Honolulu, Oahu: This thriving metropolis offers world-class restaurants and boutiques. Experience the glorious beaches of Waikiki and catch a glimpse of an 18 foot tall bronze statue of King Kamehameha I, the first ruler to unite all of the Hawaiian islands (its also the name of the amazing suite at the Polynesian resort in WDW!). Explore the Dole Plantation and see how the pineapple is cultivated (Dole Whip anyone?!). Pay your respects to the fallen at Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial.

~Kahului, Maui: Find yourself at the crossroads of Maui with rainforests to the east, shopping to the south and classic beach side villages to the west. Take a drive on one of the most famous roads in the world on your way to Hana. View cliffs and waterfalls and arrive at Wailea; home to posh restaurants and the preferred beach resorts of the rich and famous. Lahaina, a famous 19th century whaling center and rustic village, now offers unique shopping dining.

~Nawiliwili, Kauai: Untouched beaches, lush jungles, waterfalls and Waimea Canyon "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific". Nawiliwili gives access to 50-miles of palm tree lined beaches. See the peaks of Mount Kawaikini and Mount Waialeale which are over 5,000 feet above the ocean.

The beautiful ports of call and fun filled days at sea make this 14 (or 15-Night) voyage the experience of a lifetime! Book your adventure before availability runs out! Michele@PixieVacations.com
