MyMagic+

The next phase of the new updated technologically "enhanced" Disney park going experience is here. MyMagic+ is set to interact with the "My Disney Experience" site and mobile application which will streamline the park going experience.

MyMagic+ will allow guests to select attractions and shows they want to experience from home through the FastPass+ system. Once you arrive at the park, use your smartphone to connect to your My Disney Experience app, which will provide your reservation information, itinerary and FastPass+ reservations.

MyMagic+ will be linked to the My Disney Experience through the Magic Band. This bracelet uses RFID technology that will include all the guests information, in a wrist band. The band is your room key, theme park ticket, dining plan, access to FastPass+, PhotoPass and more.

The tools for MyMagic+, My Disney Experience and the Magic Band will continue to be developed as Disney collects guest feedback on the recent trials.

This entire program is, according to Disney, all about taking the guest experience to the next level. The thinking is if the them park process is streamlined it will be more enjoyable. Less waiting in line in the hot sun with screaming kids, less running around the park collecting Fast Passes, less time separating the family to experience everyone's favorite attractions.

We shall see how the technology progresses, I know there have been plenty of complaints about the new My Disney Experience site but hopefully everything will fall into place soon.
