Near the end of 2012 Disney Parks announced "Limited Time Magic" which would run intermittently at parks coast to coast.
The Golden Horseshoe Review opened in Disneyland yesterday and will run through February 4th. On the heels of the success of that first Limited Time Magic event, Disney has announced the next installment of magic.
January 14 to January 20 Walt Disney World is offering a "Winter Wonderland" in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. Snow flurries and character interactions will be part of the wonderland. Characters will be on site to meet and greet (with photo and autograph opportunities) from 10:30am to 2:10pm and 3:05pm and 5:45pm.
Disneyland will offer "Bayou Bash" featuring Princess Tiana and Louis the Alligator from "The Princess and the Frog". This party will take place for four weekends only: January 18-21, January 25-27, February 1-3 and February 8-12. Jazz music, street parties and Cajun food are all part of this "bash".
The Limited Time Magic is a cute concept and I love the new ideas that they are bringing to the parks. The Winter Wonderland doesn't seem nearly as exciting as the Bayou Bash, but personally I've always thought that New Orleans Square in Disneyland was amazing and who doesn't love an alligator that plays the trumpet?!?!
