Osborne Family Lights

If you have ever been to Walt Disney World around the holidays hopefully you haven't missed the stunning spectacle that is the Osborne Family Lights. It's not the super swearing British Osbourne's from reality TV and Black Sabbath but rather the imported light display from the Osborne family in Arkansas. Mr. Jennings Osborne put on a holiday light display at his family home and added to it throughout the years. In 1995, when the neighbor complaints became to overwhelming the display found a new home at Hollywood Studios.

The stunning light display lights up at dusk and runs approximately every 10 minutes from November 9th to January 6th. The millions of lights are synchronized to music and there is something to see everywhere you look.

The Streets of America will crowd up when the "lighting ceremony" begins but the light show runs about every 10 minutes from dusk until park closing. Make sure you walk around the Streets of America and see the various displays. Things move and change and it really is a sight to behold.

Practical Planner Tip: There is normally a PhotoPass photographer on hand but if you want a family photo in front of the amazing light display get in line early because it's a popular holiday photo spot.
