Fantasyland Construction Updates
We've seen the "new Dumbo" flying high in all it's glory in the New Fantasyland, but the interactive queue is what has everyone curious. What's going to happen underneath that fabulous yellow tent that's going to enthrall children and make parents lives in line bearable?
Disney Imagineering released information to the Disney Parks Blog about the new queue today. Instead of standing stationery in a line counting the seconds until it's your turn to take a spin on Dumbo guests will receive a circus ticket upon entering Dumbo's big top. This ticket will notify you when it's your turn to board your pachyderm. Until then, enjoy all that Dumbo's big top has to offer; including play areas and interactive experiences. This will be the first ever "queue lounge" at a Disney attraction.
Other attractions to look forward to in "New Fantasyland" will include Belle's library for the new "Enchanted Tales with Belle", which will provide a meet and greet with Belle and Lumiere in a library setting.
Prince Eric's castle will house the popular "Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid" attraction, which guests can currently open in Disney's California Adventure. This fun voyage under the sea is unlike anything you've ever seen before and tells the story of the Little Mermaid with music as popular scenes from the movie come to life in vibrant colors and bring you "Unda da sea".
Perhaps the most anticipated opening in New Fantasyland is the addition of the "Be Our Guest restaurant". You can be certain guests won't be missing their Advanced Dining Reservation window when this fantastic spectacle of a restaurant opens for business.
