With my overwhelming excitement from being on the Disney Fantasy I feel like i've left poor Dumbo in the dust.
I must give credit where credit is due and Storybook Circus definitely deserves credit. This "New Fantasyland" area debut makes me even more excited than I already was about the remainder of the expansion to open.
This area makes the rest of Fantasyland seem dull. The vibrance in the colors and textures and detailing is so immaculate you'll do a double take.
I love how the cement is stamped appropriately for each area of Storybook Circus. Note the elephant prints leading up to the Dumbo attraction.
I love the crown detailing and the addition of Jumbo (Dumbo's mom) to the carousel.
Have you ever seen a more happy elephant? I think not!
I love this old fashioned ticket booth...i wonder if this will serve a function in the remaining expansion of Fantasyland or if it's a transport of history from another place in the park. I'll have to ask my friend George from Imaginerding, I'm sure he'll know the history behind this newly disguised ticket booth.
This area is amazing and the costuming is divine. I can't wait to see what else is going to happen with the "New Fantasyland". Pictures from over the wall and more details to follow!
