The holidays are everywhere and even though the parks roll out our favorite Christmas decorations and festivities there is always something special at the deluxe resorts as well.
Look for giant Christmas trees in each of the deluxe resorts as well edible holiday displays:
Beach Club Resort-fully detailed, life-sized gingerbread carousel in the lobby
Yacht Club Resort-a miniature New England style train racing through a sugary rock mountain in a candy-coated village
BoardWalk Resort-gingerbread display
Contemporary Resort-17 foot gingerbread Christmas Tree
Grand Floridian-Giant decorated Gingerbread house
The decorations at the various resorts are themed for that resort (of course...it is Disney after all!) and the Christmas trees are as big as they can possibly be in each lobby.
If you have a portion of the day you don't have park tickets (for example if you only purchased the hard ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party and can't get into the parks before 4pm) that would be a great time to resort hop and look at all the decorations! Don't buy too much Gingerbread...you're going to get free cookies at the Christmas party and they are delicious!
