Midship Detective Agency
When you mention Disney Cruise Line, people automatically think of children and what a great job Disney does entertaining them. I think we are all in agreement on that but I also think you'd be making a huge mistake if you think Disney Cruise Line is just for kids.
My favorite activities on the cruise line are often designed for children. The night the adults got to take over the Oceaneers' Lab on our 15-night Hawaiian cruise was a blast and I'm still a little upset they don't have an adults only version of "Mickey Mania"; because they totally should. The midship detective agency (only on the Dream and Fantasy) is one of my favorite "kid" activities.
This interactive detective game utilizes the interactive art work throughout the ship and allows you to collect clues to solve the mystery. There are multiple puzzles to solve and various themes so if you've done it once don't think you don't need to do it again.
I'm going to let you in on a little secret as well, if you use the stairs only this little game is also a good workout since you're going to various floors on the ship and from front to back, etc.
So grab a casebook, choose your mission and get on with it! Don't forget to take a little mini pencil from the detective agency desk to mark down your clues as you go and cross off the culprits who had an alibi.
Practical Planner Tip: The detective agency is the busiest on sea days, so be prepared for longer than usual wait times and more kids participating.
