Cars Land: Sneak Peek

There is expansion happening at Disney Parks coast-to-coast. “New Fantasyland” is opening in phases in Walt Disney World and Cars Land is set to open June 15th. 

During my recent trip to Disneyland I was delighted to peek over the wall at California Adventure and see what Cars Land was going to have to offer. 

The wall for the main attraction, Radiator Springs Racers, is up and looking amazing. This will be the Cars themed version of the popular attraction “Test Track” that’s in Walt Disney World. The wall in Radiator Springs is getting a lot of attention and the curiosity for what’s going to happen behind that wall is also growing. 

I was able to sneak a few pictures over the wall thanks to a handy dandy zoom lens and a nosy operator (me!) If you look down the main street you’ll see the Town Hall of Radiator Springs, to the right of the photo you’ll recognize Flo’s V-8 cafe and the hotel to the left. You can see Luigi’s flying tires behind the hotel which is going to be utilizing some amazing new technology.

This amazing edition to California Adventure will be opening on June 15th! Merchandise is already available for purchase at various kiosks throughout the park. When I saw Dumbo in the new Fantasyland expansion I was amazed at how expensive and ornate everything was and from what I see, Cars Land is going to have the same feeling. I can’t wait to be transported to Radiator Springs!
